Who I am
My work focuses on the small, quiet ways people appear in urban spaces.
A face or a figure shows up for a moment, almost like a short trace of someone passing by.
In a fast and visually crowded world, I’m interested in how these small presences still manage to stay visible.
Light, colour, and shadow help me turn everyday places into brief, suspended moments where reality and imagination meet for an instant.
METHOD
I prefer to work directly in camera, and sometimes I use simple physical filters that help me change the light and the atmosphere while I am shooting.
These small tools are very basic, but they let me create the gentle distortions and the soft, dream-like feeling that I have in mind. I
like to keep my way of working as direct as possible, following the optical effects and letting the photograph take its form in that moment.
BIOGRAPHY
I am a self-taught photographer from Selargius, Sardinia. I began taking photos out of curiosity, and slowly it became my way to look at the world.
I’m drawn to those quiet scenes where a gesture, a posture or a small movement reveals how people relate to the space around them.
In the contemporary city, these fragile moments appear and disappear quickly, and maybe this is why I try to give them a form before they vanish.
I also work on small studio projects, mainly to explore how light shapes the human figure in a more controlled situation.
I am not looking for perfect images;
I prefer the slight uncertainty of what happens naturally, and I try to recognise the small truth that appears only for a very short instant.
As long as I can follow the light with my eyes, I will continue to photograph.
